Technics RS-671 cassette deck repair
My deck was working fine but eventually lost ff and rewind which I traced to a hardened slipping idler buried under the mech. It took a couple of years to find the right replacement and get around to fitting it. All idlers and belts are now replaced but while the deck powers up the soft touch controls are now not responding. I should’ve checked before doing the work as it’s been sat in a box for a long time. It’s a mid 70’s battleship and very much all discrete components. If anyone is able to look at it let me know.
