Search this website
I can no longer, as per the title, search this website using the tool atop this forum. I get a banner saying "this connection is insecure" etc, and then only get greyed out google results unrelated to the forum?

Re: Search this website
I had this after changing to the https version of the Forum. Clear your cookies and it should stop being a pain.

Re: Search this website
I have changed the form action of the Google Search form from http://www.google.com/cse to https://www.google.com/cse
Hopefully that will stop the warning as the search is also through an SSL connection. |

Re: Search this website
It works OK for me in Firefox and Chrome on Windows 10 too.
It could be something specific with the software on your computer or a browser add-on or something. |

Re: Search this website
I've had this when there's been a problem with the Google servers. The search just returns the paid ads with no real results. I haven't experienced it recently though.

Re: Search this website
Thanks guys.
Paul Stenning, yes it must be, as the search box works fine with other browsers other than Firefox Last edited by ITAM805; 26th Apr 2017 at 10:25 am. |
