Yes it is a Bush TUG68 from 1957. These are an excellent set, and should give a great picture once re-capped.

Superb set to work on, everything is set out nicely. It’s my set in the thread linked above.

Is the receiver unit as rusty as mine, it seems the receiver chassis where made of lower grade materials.

Well done on that restoration, fine result.
This one seems to have less rust, probably because it's remained inside a house all it's life. Very dusty though! As usual though, it's the cabinet that deters me from taking it on, wood and I are difficult companions! It isn't really that bad but there are some deep scratches and some veneer that needs attention. It does have a good back though.

For some strange reason, Bush fitted a steel receiver chassis instead of their usual aluminum variety.Luckily, the main chassis is aluminium, so stays in better shape.
The receiver chassis in my T57 is quite rusty, but not as bad as Lee's set!

I must admit, full on cabinet refinishing is a bit daunting, But I refinished a 1930's Marconi radiogram for a friend a while back, and I was very pleased with how it turned out, I wish I had taken some 'before & after' photos.
My T57 cabinet is in very poor shape, and coming apart at the seams
At least the old finish should come off easily!
I either stain and finish with cellulose lacquer, or I use Danish oil.
