Weller TCP Plug Connections
Hello, I have a used Weller TCP iron without a 3 pin plug - it has 4mm plugs on the end of the cable.
I want to fit a Bulgin 3 pin plug on the end of the cable instead of the 4mm plugs - it's for a friend to use with a different transformer. Could anyone let me know what the Bulgin plug connections are, as I don't currently have the transformer to check? I guess it's just a question of which pin is earth. Many thanks! Lance |

Re: Weller TCP Plug Connections
There is nothing special as long as it is a regular TCP iron with a magnetic thermostat.
The stations are wired with an earth on the pin opposite the notch and the other two pins are 24 volts AC and can be connected either way around. |
