Better than Pomona who were charging £5 per bar!

I've got 4 separate PL/TS supplies now and they all have missing bars!
If they're that cheap I'll quite happily buy a fiver's worth and make the spares available to anyone who wants them

Just when you think you've almost finished a job....

I decided to replace the mains cable that had been chopped very short. To give myself better access I removed the fuse holder from the back panel, and on refitting it the damn thing decided to disintegrate while I tightening up the retaining nut

Does anyone have a part number for the fuse holder or a spare they'd be willing to sell me, please? It's a pain trying to find parts like these on eBay because sellers don't always supply vital information like the dimensions of the mounting hole......

This always annoys me. The one listed here requires a 12mm / 1/2 inch hole though despite no specification listed. This may be a defacto standard but I'm not sure. I've bought quite a few over the years for projects.

They ship next day Royal Mail as well most of the time so ideal for last minute on Friday thoughts for Saturday projects

Thanks for the suggestion. Do they have an anti-rotation flat like the broken one does? I measured the hole as 13mm diameter with 11.5mm where the flat is.

It doesn't but the plastic is workable if you want to file one side flat.

Dont forget Maplins for "emergency" parts like this (Open Saturdays and Sundays)

Its so easy to go to Ebay to save a few pence, but wait days for delivery.

They have four or five different panel mount fuse holders listed, and i am sure one would do as a replacement.

There was one fuse holder that looked like a good match but neither of my local Maplin stores had any stock.

Not to worry, I've found some on eBay. Hopefully they will be okay when they arrive!
