Stand–off/Insulated Terminal points?
Hi!
Does anyone know of a single insulated Terminal post, like Bush used to use in their wired radio and TV chassis, or something akin to a "feed through" capacitor, but without the capacitance of course, for making wired assemblies that's still readily available in quantity? There's various sorts of Jackson Bros. N.O.S. items currently on sale at the moment, but it's obviously no good quoting scarce n.o.s. bits as a suggested means of building things! Chris Williams

You didn't specify cheap!
There are PTFE insulated terminal posts, with various stand-off or feed through options made by Oxley Developments, using their 'barb' locking pins, according to their web site data sheet. https://www.oxleygroup.com/images/ne...ctspdf/128.pdf I wonder who made the ones used on Cyldon TV tuners and Bush chassis. Something like these? They are ceramic feedthroughs, about 1cm long. You are welcome to some if they are of use.

These sound like the sort of things that John Birkett's shop might have salted away somewhere- might be worth a bell (01522 520767).
