Default Portadyne A43, Invicta AC47 - details needed

I hope to include these two sets in my book project, but I am lacking info, i.e. number of valves, band coverage, power arrangements, date of issue of sets. Can anyone help?

Hello Tony,

Just basic info here on the Invicta - four valves plus rect. (FC4, VP4B, 2D4A, Pen4VB, IW3), supply 200/250V 40/100c/s., released May '36 at £9. 17s. 6d. Band coverage isn't mentioned, but I'd guess just LW/MW as the list generally refers to "all-wave" sets as such, and as the price of the set is fairly low for its day.

Regards,
Paul

Thanks for that, Paul. It's about all I needed for an entry caption!
