Default Sony TV9-306 mains lead

Whilst watching this little Sony portable yesterday the set went dead.
The cause was the 4 pin Sony mains cable it uses.
I've had this before and it does seem a weak spot. It is moulded and so not repaireable so I devised a quick solution.
This set and probably others has mains input and 12V battery input. The top two pins of the connector are the mains and the bottom two battery. A standard fig. 8 mains lead pushes snuggly on to the bottom two so all that is necessary is to cut the battery wires and move over the two mains wires.
