Maybe try looking for a similar PAL-M version of the chassis manual that may yield some clues, the PSU/Tuner/IF sections will probably be very different but the decoder part will show you what is different.

What UK model is it btw? and do you know what chassis it uses for the UK/European version? UK versions are normally suffixed UB, European suffixed E

Judging from the photo it looks like the KV-14M1u or KV-14T1u to me. The service manual is available online and if so it is the BE-4 chassis…. it does indeed have the chipset mentioned….

By the way, there are service manuals for certain Sony Brazilian spec TVs available on manualslib.

An example would be the KV-29FS100. Not sure if that would help you or not…
