ALBA 3422 replacement of dead thermistor
I have been given one of these rather quirky looking sets had a poke about it seems one of the thermistors is in two pieces it's listed in the components as thermistor 2. 1010 anyone know what would be a good replacement for this ??

Sorry, no, but it was probably a Mullard/Philips VA1010.

In practical terms you would probably get away with a resistor chosen experimentally to give 30V ac across R29 (100mA through the heater chain) when the set is warmed up. If that gives the panel lamp too hard a time of it, add a couple of series opposing zeners across the bulb to limit the surge voltage it sees or feed it separately via its own dropper capacitor.
