Radio Bygones Index
Hi Folks, having seen the recent request for an index to Radiophile, I wondered if anyone had seen or knew of and index to Radio Bygones as it is a great work of reference on many aspects of our hobby

Re: Radio Bygones Index
There was an index in every 6th (or so) issue covering those editions.
Up to Issue 90. After that there was a CD, so perhaps there was an index on those? I have copies 1 to 100 so could scan the ones I have if allowed on the forum. An example enclosed. Mods: Please advise / delete if not appropriate. Alan

Re: Radio Bygones Index
Hi Folks, many thanks for those links, I've since found the last 2 indexes that I have scanned and are attached below.
Reading the indexes reveals what a great resource this mag was, covering (in great detail) most popular sets and test equipment. A check on the world radio history website reveals it is not up there, a sad omission. It would be interesting to know if the last few combined Radiophile/ Radio Bygones mags under Chas Millers leadership were ever indexed. Are the various books that were advertised in RB (Wireless for the Warrior etc) still available and from where? Ed |

Re: Radio Bygones Index
Sadly Compendium 1 ‘Spark to Larkspur’ (Wireless Sets 1910-1948), which used to be available from RB, is out of print, and not available. The other compendiums are available via www.lulu.com
