Default Chilton 100S offered in exchange for loan of working open-reel player

I have here my father's old Chilton 100s open reel tape recorder. It doesn't blow any fuses when switched-on, but clearly the pinch-roller and the interwheel are knackered. I will offer this machine (free) to any enthusiast who would like it, but in return (or in addition) I would dearly like to borrow something which I can use to play my father's old tapes so I can transfer anything interesting to a modern format. Will deliver/collect within an hour's drive of Kendal.
