TV62 - A Quick Question..
There is a .5uf 250vac cap on the mains input, I have already put a supressor cap across the switch, but the only cap I have in .5 is 1000vdc, can I get away with that?
Courtney

Re: TV62 - A Quick Question..
Ok, more quick questions. I have recapped the waxies on the Main deck and disconnected the HT from the RF deck. After applying power I get all the heaters but no line drive :-(
I do get a small 4mm spark from the top cap of the EY86 and I have fitted a new PL81, PY800 and ECC82 I do get an arcing sound through the speaker though Courtney

Re: TV62 - A Quick Question..
OK I think I have found the fault. I only have 1 wire from the lopt attached through the blue sheathing instead of 2. I can see the end of it poking out of the sheath but not long enough to reach the solder tag.
