Default Simon Symphonic 2B info wanted

Hi all

I am seeking some technical info on the above (a very early entry into the recording arena from Simon Sound) a circuit or what have you on this slighly unsual machine would be a great start. any help appreciated.

I've got a set of J. P. Hawker's Radio & TV Servicing volumes that covers, I think, 1954 - 1964. I can't guarantee that there'll be anything about Simon machines but I'll have a look anyway.

My index to Radio and Television Servicing doesn't mention Simon at all.

Thanks for having a look. I doubt this machine would be covered in the normal referance books of the period as Simon restricted the info to offical dealers only.
