Default Piezoelectric tweeters

I want to buy an inexpensive tweeter to create a vermin scarer.

I will use ultrasonic frequencies to avoid any nuisance to people.

The cheap plastic piezo tweeters do not give much information in their specifications.

Some are described as high impedance, others as 8 Ohm.

I though they were mainly high impedance and capacitive in nature.

I realise that the impedance will vary with frequency, but are they really 8 Ohm?

Don't know which particular pest you are trying to deter

However Cat scarers are available for less than £10 solar powered to boot.

Much cheaper than a photon torpedo and less damage to the garden

Hardly worth the bother to build one at that sort of price.

I understand they also deter foxes, deer and teenagers

Cheers
