Bakelite light switches
Hi All
Just moved house and discovered these light switches.Anyone know who made them or any other info? Two wires no earth. Jon |

I seem to recall seeing one of those fitted with a 5A socket, serving as the on/off switch. This one was brown, but otherwise looked identical - might have been made by Clang?

How do these work Jon? Is it a latching button, or do you have to press it back from the bottom to turn it off?
And is the hole for a mounting screw, or is it some sort of tell-tale?

Hi Rambo
I have established that these were made by Clix. The square bar moves up and down to effect the switching and the centre screw holds the domed cover in place. They may go on the auction site after the house rewire. Jon |
