I had an Eagle TSA-151 many moons ago, which I had hooked up to Ferguson 3407 speakers. A pretty decent match as both were around 12 watts anyway..

Well designed and well built but did the owners get any more enjoyment out of the Quad than those who could only afford an Eagle amplifier?

It was the copy more than the amplifier I was referring to, but fair point - a lot of these budget Japanese jobs - the little Trio KA2000 was another - gave a lot of pleasure to a lot of people.
