Default Sony TC 377 Dis-assembly

Well this is a bit embarassing really, but here goes. I can't for the life of me work out how to get the little silver knob off the pause lock lever on a TC-377 that I've got here for refurb. The machine is out of it's cabinet, the front panel is ready to come off as well , except for this bl**dy little pause control knob. All the other control knobs just pull off, but this one won't and it doesn't seem to un-screw either. Please can somebody put me out of my misery! Regards Scruff.

On my TC-366 it unscrews, BUT(!) it's threaded anticlockwise.... You may have just been tightening it up

These things are sent to try us.
It does indeed unscrew anticlockwise..
On the 366,377,and 399 possibly others.
Been there done that
Nice machines though the Sony 377s. IMO
