Ekco 1950’s Television T344?
I’m wondering if anyone can help me getting a rough value of this vintage television before I decide what to do with it. It’s unworking and the only exact same model I can find online is on a museum website and also a movie rent / hire prop website. It’s in great condition for its age and would make a great restoring project but I don’t want to undersell it! Please could I have some advice! The wires have been cut on the back

Re: Ekco 1950’s Television T344?
Don't expect it to work - there haven't been any transmissions for it since 1985. Don't turn it on as this can cause damage.
Late 50s televisions like these in good cosmetic condition typically fetch £50-£100, but this appears to be a particularly nice example and may be worth more. The most I've seen similar TVs in outstanding condition sell for is £200, so you won't be able to retire on the proceeds. One problem with them is that they are difficult and expensive to post, and finding local buyers may be tricky. |
