Re: Useful tuning scale and label scans etc
This may seem an odd one but the "licence plate" was missing from the inside of the cabinet of my Bush DAC10 so I made this one for completeness.
It's beyond me - and my drawing software - to recreate the logo so I took a scan of the one in my DAC90A. The scanned licence plate has suffered a bit from heat so the bottom of the outer rings is slightly deformed. It does look better when it's printed out. I covered it with clear adhesive film then mounted it onto a piece of plastic to make it look reasonably authentic. The actual size is 6.2cms x 1.8cms If anyone is interested I can add the serial number of their radio to the plate. Regards, Lee. Last edited by frglee21; 3rd Mar 2012 at 8:44 pm. |

Useful tuning scale and label scans etc.
HMV 5213
Scans attached here; Because these are white printed onto plain plate glass I have scanned them two ways. One with white backing as normal and one scan with black backing. Paul. Last edited by Mike Phelan; 22nd Apr 2012 at 10:31 am. Reason: Additional .zip. |

Bush DAC90a back. The tidying up of this scan was a joint effort by David G4EBT and I.

Re: Useful tuning scale and label scans etc
Here are two scans, a cleaned and prepped VHF90 and a scan of the control panel on a Roberts R300.
The Roberts panel probably will fit other models. They tend to get discoloured, this scan can be printed on sticky film to recover the original. It was very difficult to scan due to the upturned edges spacing the panel away from the scanner glass. Sam. |

Who ate all the Pyes?
This is my attempt at reproducing the badge from inside the lid of a Black Box. I did a 'step & repeat' copy of the original image so that I'd end up with plenty with which to experiment These turned out quite well on my inkjet - how to translate paper copy into some form of glossy finish that would look OK on the inside of the BB's lid - photo paper? laminating sheet? Hope it's of use Best wishes Guy

Re: Useful tuning scale and label scans etc
Here's a dial plate for a C1955 Telefunken Mazurka. I foolishly washed the original and half the letters slipped or fell off (my first time restoring!). Luckily I'd taken decent enough photos to remake a template and got it screen printed locally. Here are the PDF's (reversed for printing onto glass), and for reference the font I used was DIN 1451 Std Engschrift.

Re: Invicta model 33 scale glass
Hi
Just in case anybody else is looking for an image of the dial of the Invicta 33 (unlikely but you never know), I have uploaded a PDF of my drawing. It should print out at the correct size. Mike |
