Greetings to all. Can someone point me to or provide a service manual for this ex Navy boatanchor,it is in too good shape not to try and resurrect it. Brian G. |

Re: Wayne Kerr Signal Generator CT53
Can you put up a picture, and tell us what ranges etc are, as it might correspond to a commercial model. The CT52 scope and CT54 valve voltmeter are well known, so your CT53 is an intriguing item. Bill m0wpn

Re: Wayne Kerr Signal Generator CT53
The CT53 is (also) attributed to the British Communications Corporation.
Stores ref is 10S/16160 and it covers most of the way from 8.9 to 300 MHz. Roy |

Re: Wayne Kerr Signal Generator CT53
I have one of these - just bought it in an online auction - and I'm interested in the three connectors at the bottom of the unit ('Sine Wave and Pulse Input', 'Full RF Output' and 'Attenuated RF Output'). What family of connectors are these, are they available anywhere, or do I look a replacing them with N or UHF types?
It's a lovely piece of kit and it yearns to be operated once more. Tony |

Re: Wayne Kerr Signal Generator CT53
I think it is a Burndept connector. See this thread for pictures when used on a similar vintage CT212. Also used on Racal RA17 and Larkspur equipment.
