Default Ekco push buttons?

I'm interested in an Ekco record player and remote speaker that are soon to be going through my local auction house but can't say I have ever seen this particular model before.

It seems very much like an Ekco RP329 but what are the three push buttons doing there? Does anyone know what function they have? Or what the model number for this unit would be?

I should have mentioned the turntable is a Collaro Conquest.

The Ferranti RP1022 is very similar with the three push buttons on top not on the front. They are mute, mono, stereo.
The Ferranti service manual is available from the service data link at the top of the page. Valve line up a pair of ECL82’s, matching stereo amp SU 1022.

Ekco and Ferranti made similar items with cosmetic changes so it could be the same internally.

Excellent find Lawrence.

It's the first time since 1958/59 since I've seen the add-on matching Ekco stereo adaptor. The 3 push buttons are for various combinations of Mono and Stereo switching. It's essential that these are spray cleaned as they can impede the pick up signal.
