Default Marconi tf2008 vs 2955

I already have a TF2008 and have just acquired a nice 2955. I'm not yet familiar with all the functionality of the 2955, so I'm wondering what the benefits are of having both devices.

Thanks

Hi Steve, a tf2008 is only a signal generator whereas a 2955 is a signal generator, a power meter, a frequency counter, a ctcss generator, a selective calling encoder and decoder, a modulation meter and an ossilloscope so there is quite a difference between the two instruments. The 2955 is basically a workshop test kit in one instrument. Saying that they are rather old now and spares can be difficult to get, but if your 2955 is in good condition treasure it.
