Mikey's bash to near London - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

Should a kind soul from near London, even better not far from Harrow, be at Mike's 405 party on May 12 and have room to bring back 2 X 19" slim woodies then Steve, nee Colourstar and myself, nee Chris would love to hear from you. Almost forgot, and so would Dave nee Horris, who we together make up the "transport à trois."

Hi Chris,
I won't be at Mikey's bash on Saturday but will be at the NVCF on Sunday. Neil is (hopefully) bringing an Ultra TV to Mike's which will hopefully find it's way to the NVCF on Sunday. How it will do that, I'm not sure yet! If your bits could find their way there as well then I could bring the whole lot back. Alternatively, I could go and collect everything from Mike's on Sunday afternoon, but don't know if that fits in with his plans.
They would end up in Great Dunmow where Horris has been to collect stuff from me before.
I've also collected a TV from Colourstar at RWB although I've no idea what difference that makes!
Would that be any use to you?

All being well I will be at the NVCF and should potentially be able to bring both sets with me, as long as it won't impose on you too much.

Are we talking Tv's or radio's? Not that it makes any difference : just curious!! I should have plenty of room in the car so it's not a problem.
I don't suppose you will be going to Mike's on Saturday?

I shall firm up with Colourstar and Horris and ask them to speak to you.

The other TV will find another route.

I am confused by that statement!! As far as I understand it, I am collecting a TV from Colourstar at the NVCF, Taking it back to Great Dunmow, where Horris can collect it at his convenience? Or have I missed something?
