Default Equipment and background identification request

A non-Commodore PET related post from me.

I've been given some equipment that I though I'd post here - manily to see if anyone has any connection to them.

They're all contained in a box marked "3380 MOD D/E KIT". The items are:

- a Bacharach wet bulb/dry bulb thermometer
- a cased Avometer Model 8 Mk IV meter with operating instrctions and probes
- cased Cole Electronics mains check and recorder T1007 with a small manual
- cased Simco Electrostatic Locator type SS1 with INstallation Instructions

These all seem to be from IBM engineers at Natwest Bank in/near Nottingham.

Names mentioned are Don Foster and Russell Paul.

The MOD box is interesting - when I worked at what was the Norwich Union datacentre, we used to have a lot of ex-RAF staff, presumably due to the location of the RAF bases when people left the forces; perhaps there's a story there too.

Anyoway - I thought people might like to see the photos.

Any information about the equipment, or even better the people/history would be welcomed.

Colin.
