Default Ultra U930 / U940 side control knobs wanted

Hello,

My Ultra U930 is now fully electrically restored, but it needs the two side mounted control knobs, as per the photo. The finger gripped part is brown, it fits onto a 0.25" flat shaft and has a clear skirt.

Please post here and PM me if you can help.

Many thanks.

I don't think I have any but I will check. To help widen your search though I think the same knobs were used on Ekco TVs,
https://www.radios-tv.co.uk/ekco-bw-tvs-late-60s/
and radios. The U195 radio for instance.
The problem is that often the Perspex skirt discolours and warps badly.
If I do find any in my spares I will send you a PM.
Rich.

I've got 7 of the Ekco type knobs but 6 are either labelled Brightness or Volume. The other one has a clear skirt, there are a couple of light radial scratches on the clear part but they are not cracks.
Pm me if any of these knobs are of interest.
Mike.

Hello Mike,

Thanks for offering your similar Ekco control knobs. Unfortunately, the two knob skirts on my Ultra U930 are unmarked and they are for tone control and waveband selection.

I'll give this thread a week or more so to run and if no-one can provide two unmarked knobs, I'll be in touch.

Dave
