Default Search seems broken.

Hi while researching info on national 1-10 foung nothing using search i asked my wife if she could find anything. she used Google and came up with among others a link to a thread on this Forum ( National 1-10 VHF Regenerative Receiver) . Putting this into the search finds my recent post among random stuff but not this. The page exists as i can only find it from the URL ( https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/showthread.php?t=188828 ) . Oh the humiliation i will never live this down . Thanks to Angela the thread has details to wind c range coils and links to another forum in the US with pics of the coils Mick

Use the one at the top centre of the screen ["Search this website", "Powered By Google Custom Search"].

It's much better than the vBulletin ["Search"] one on the blue bar.

Yes the Google custom search was added years ago because the built in search isn’t great.

However it only searches sections that are visible when not logged in and there can be a delay for threads and posts being added depending on how quickly it crawls and indexes them.

It’s often best to try both.
