kleinanzeigen.de is a subsidiary of ebay.
Classified ads can be placed and items sold and bought free of charge. Most sellers accept PP, some do not. In addition to buying stuff, though it must be said that postage to the UK has increased significantly since Brexit, it is a good source for those wanting to determine how much their stuff is currently garnering in Germany, in addition to ebay.de of course. One drawback is that it only understands German and does not usually compensate for spelling mistakes. Here a few standard generic search terms: -"weltempfaenger" = shortwave radio -"kofferradio" = portable radio/transistor radio -"tonbandgeraet" = tape recorder -"lautsprecher" or "boxen" = speakers -"plattenspieler" = record player/turntable -"amateurfunk" = amateur radio -"empfaenger" = receiver -"fernseher" = TV -"roehrenradio" = valve radio, though often under "vintage radio" Many English terms have been adopted such as -"receiver" = i.e. stereo receiver (integrated tuner and amp) -"tuner" = generally notes a stereo tuner in a component system -"vintage radio" Most sellers also put the exact name of a item in the title, i.e "grundig satellit..." etc. One warning in case of serious interest in an item. As elsewhere, scams can also be a problem here. The first thing is to check the seller's ratings. Positive reviews are generally highlighted in blue/purple. A direct payment system is also available. For few euros more the purchase is guaranteed, i.e. the buyer expresses interest in an item and chooses the safe-payment option. The seller accepts the offer and the total price is held in escrow until such time as the buyer receives the item and releases the money to the seller. Feel free to contact me if I can be of any help. Last edited by Chorinite; 15th Jun 2024 at 9:43 am. |
