Hello All,
I've recently purchased a "later version" EICO 330 RF signal-generator which uses a FET for the oscillator. Have not been able to find the operator's manual though after thorough on-line search here in the States. Several sites offer the earlier 330 PDF. Is there anywhere in the U.K. that may have this needed manual? Thanks very much for any help! John |

I think you're going to have to hope someone has the correct manual and sees your message.
Note that it was also sold under the EMCO brand as the Gen-RF 1 Solid State FET RF Signal Generator (picture here http://www.allsold.ca/emco-gen-rf-1-solid-state-fet-rf-signal-generator-10417) but likewise, no manual or schematic seems to be available. If you can get some good quality square on pictures of the top and bottom of the PCB, I may be able to draw the schematic from them. |

Well persistence pays off, it was also sold as the Monacor SG-1000, this is a translation of a German user manual + a schematic.

Excellent, Terry---thanks VERY much! I had wondered if this Korean-made unit was sold under other names, but couldn't find anything even using Google image search (here in the States). How did you discover this info? I had already planned to "reverse-engineer" circuit if nothing could be found in a reasonable amount of time as I've done before with a few other seemingly rare and undocumented items. Certainly appreciate your quick help!
FIXITNOW---Thanks for your response, but that PDF is for the early, much more common version. John |

Combination of not using common search engines and switching off AI searches is part of it and having a few favourite places to look.
Image search (not Google) led me to the Emco version which told me it was a badge engineered thing. Then limiting searches to regions outside the US, ie Europe, Asia etc - it showed up in Germany. It shows up under quite a few different names and as has been proven when looking for the Eico version, the model numbers have been reused on later versions as well - manuals also are non-existent for them. |

I've redrawn a clean copy of the schematic and added a couple of notes I found elsewhere.

Thanks much, Terry---just now saw this. Downloaded PDF to folder.
Have an 8-digit LED freq counter module I need to find a compact enclosure to fit which will sit on top of generator. Odd that the 1984 EICO catalog listing states that maximum output is 300,000 uV and the Monacor manual text says 30 mV. I am seeing approximately the latter with good & clean waveform. John |

I reckon one of those might be a misprint, although they are two different circuits.
