. . .A Poser for Everyone!
. . .If you examine a few Murphy Radio Circuit Diagrams (both Radio and TV) up to about 1953/1954, you'll note that each conductor on the diagram had small numbers in 1950s P.W. "Uno Stencil Sloping" lettering near to each end of the conductor – can anyone suggest the purpose of these numbers? . . .Were they the actual solder joints/tag connection numbers keyed to a Factory Wiring Plan perhaps? . . .The use of these numbers continued till about 1954 – I THINK one of Murphy Radio's earliest a.m./f.m. receivers had these numbers on the circuit diagram but I think they stopped using them 1954/1955! . . .(I fear that the complexity of the Trigger/T.B./Sweep Delay Board 3 in my "Home–Built Laboratory Oscilloscope" means these numbers'll be making a come–back to show the Veroboard Hole Co–Ordinates for each wire–link, Terminal Pin and Component on my Circuit Diagrams!)
