Default Free 50s Radio and TV service books

Hello,

I have 5 volumes of "Radio and TV Servicing" by Molloy and Poole that I'd like to offer to anyone who can make use of them.

They cover dozens of radios and TV's manufactured in in the 50's and sold in the UK.

They have schematics, component lists and test data for each set, as well as explainers for new designs and technologies.

If you have an interest in a particular set, I may be able to scan that data for you, or if you want the whole lot we can arrange shipping (1st come 1st served...)

Cheers,

Alex.

Hello and welcome to the forums.

Are these books being offered free of charge? If not forum rules require that you state an exact price. Postage extra of course!

It would be helpful if you could state which volumes you're offering.

Hi,

Yes, free of charge.

I have volumes 2 to 6 (5 volumes) but not volume 1

Volume 5 has an index to all the models covered.

The background is that I'm clearing out my parent's house and found these books that had been given to my family when I expressed an interest in electronics as a child. I've been an electronics engineer since!

Anyway, I'd like these to be of use to someone since they have a lot of useful details about these sets and some good tutorial content too. Just not up my street though.

Hi Alex, we could use them in our local mens shed 'repair shop' (Leith/Newhaven)

I'm on my 4th week of 6 away in France, back at the end of August.

Hi Doug,

Great! They are yours.
Send me a message when you get back and we'll figure out a way of getting them to you.

Cheers,

Alex.
