Default Variable capacitor repair/restoration.

Recently I accidentally dropped my Altai grid dip meter, and was horrified to pick it up to hear some internal loose items and a loose tuning dial.
The bearings in the tuning capacitor had dropped out!

I removed the variable cap and struggled for a while to replace these bearings, until I found this post online:-

I have no connection with the originator.

This is a really good guide and after following the advice given I was able to successfully reconstruct the capacitor.

Regards
Chris
