Re: Old Marconiphone radio
Hi, looking at the valves used it appears to be from the 50's. Possibly an export model.
Are there any model numbers on the chassis or the underside of the set? It should be quite simple to get going, but please don't just plug it in without reading the guidance on the forum or you may cause expensive damage. Ed |

Re: Old Marconiphone radio
The writing on the back, French and Dutch may be a clue as to it's original market.

Re: Old Marconiphone radio
Hello,
The writing on the back is in French and Dutch which means that it is almost certainly Belgian. This is a different Marconiphone Belgium radio but you can see the back is very similar. https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/marconipho_5176a.html Yours, Richard |
