Default Unknown TV cabinet.

Found this picture of a TV cabinet when looking for something else.
Any idea what make of TV set it was? The openings at the side are in the style of Ekco but somehow I don't think it's that make.

The four controls in a row at the front suggest Philips but not with controls on the side as well. I think that is something a bit unusual.

It looks a bit like the Philips 663A

The side panels also remind me of an Ekco or Ultra. J.

David,

I made this picture a long time ago.
It is the cabinet of my Philips 663A.
I wonder where you came across it!

Hi Jac,
Last night I was looking though a folder of 1990s correspondence and that's where I found the picture. I guess after almost twenty year one forgets where it came from.
Looks as if the cabinet was being prepared for refinishing.

Yes, I must admit that the cheap Polaroid does not do the cabinet justice.
In fact is was (still is) in quite good condition, and needed no refinishing.
A thorough cleaning and some small touch-ups was all it took.

The electronics were different though

Some time ago I wanted to see the set working again (after 22 years) but I could not move the selector switch TV-radio.
So it definitely will need some work again in the (near?) future...

It gave quite a good picture and sound.
