Default Great Sunday (8th May 2016)

Went here... http://www.rural-life.org.uk/ on Sunday for the steam railway which was running, I have been before when it wasn't, still very interesting and well worth the £8.50 ticket, the cafe is good too.

I was most surprised to bowl into a 'Village At War' day, the best bit was a 19 set amateur radio station, even had the 6W PA for the 19 and a rotary converter for HT. Rather nice audio from the AM stations that replied. And a great day for a motorcycle ride of an hour or so each way. When I got back SHMBO dragged me out for a pint, still sunny, wonderful! All days are good, this one especially.

No I didn't, I used to take a lot but now I prefer to enjoy the whole thing without encumbrance. There are some of last years event on the museums website, I dare say this year will feature soon.
