Default Seawave Mc s.22. Any info?

Hello.
Iv'e had this unknown radio for sometime and i have just repaired it. It uses 6 minature valves and runs off 1.5v & 90v there is provision via sockets to feed in external DC. The big knob on the top houses a ferrite rod which turns and the set has 3 bands LW/MW/SW. The set works really well no doubt because of an RF stage.
The only ident is Seawave Mc S.22. Has anybody else seen these sets.
Trevor

The ferrite rod assembly will be a direction finder for maritime beacons presumably, as its name suggests a boat radio.
