Default BVWS founder members

I joined the BVWS just after it was formed way back, although no longer a member.

Looking back nostalgically, as we all do.

Does anyone know what two of the founder members are doing now, if indeed, they are still with us?

Namely, Tony Constable and David Reed.

Hello,

Tony Constable is very much still with us and living in Ealing.

David Read was not actually a founder member, but was a Society Committee member from 1977 onwards.
He is still very much with us and living in north London.

The other founder members were Ian Higginbottom, again still with us, but not in the best of health nowadays.
Jonathan Hill, living in Devon and running a specialist shop.
John Gillies, still very much with us and retired living in the north of England.

These were the noted founder members at the time of the inauguration of the Society on 25th April 1976.
