Default Restored Hacker Democrat

Hi All just finished my Hacker Democrat I purchased this radio from ebay and seller said it was clean and ready to display or use well after full stripdown and cleaning the case and repainting the grill it is now ready to display.the chassis on this one is fine dispite having AF series transistors and the speaker cone is ripped and the space for the PP9s is very tight. the sound on this is very good infact I've yet to find a bad sounding 60`s radio.

You're keeping to the wrong manufacturers, Andy. Try a Fidelity next time

Nice Democrat PP9s at the time of its production were still cased in cardboard, and some modern ones can be a tight fit in the older sets.
