Ex BBC Clocks
A kind chap answered my wanted ad with a couple of control room Gent slave clock racks. These have now been serviced and I set about making a wooden cabinet for them with some oddments of pine.
The result I am pleased with and they are running well from their master clocks. (How do I add a photo?) Last edited by Robsradio; 30th Jul 2014 at 5:40 pm. |

I have a couple of old BBC 1950s Bakelite seconds indicating Gents slave clocks too, these are the older type without the damping flywheel on the rotor giving the seconds hand that characteristic bounce every second that the BBC clock on the TV had back then, looks great! |

Re: Ex BBC Clocks
They look very nice Rob. What masters are you driving them from?

Re: Ex BBC Clocks
Thanks Mark
The seconds indicating clocks are being driven from a BBC in-house built master and the half minute slaves are being driven from a Synchronome master. Cheers Rob |
