Default Dynatron lid damper

Hi there is a damper/ stay on the Dynatron lid to stop it slamming or jumping needles etc.

- anyone had one appart?

Mine is 50:50 whether it cuts in so I have to be careful not to drop it and let it close itself as it will slam one day….

Unless it’s a pressurised type then it will be just like a bicycle pump. A flexible washer which lets air past as you open the lid and should seal against the tube to slow down the closing of the lid. It might just need a drop of oil or grease to make sure it seals.

'bicycle pump' it is, nothing sophisticated.
