Resistor value?
I am trying to repair as a novice a Sugden A48 Mk 2 int. amp and can see what looks like a resistor in one of the output amps, but it has an unusual marking. Printed on the beige carbon composite surface is: 1 nKH and that's all. Does anyone know what this means?
Thanks. |

Re: Resistor value?
It would help us answer if you either post a picture or if you have the manual with parts location you may find what it is?
Have a look here:- http://www.valve-radio.co.uk/literat...ervice-manual/

Re: Resistor value?
Looking around the internet, there are references to nH and uH as inductance values, so it suggests to me that the part in question is some type of coil or choke. A picture would help to confirm it.

Re: Resistor value?
This Sugden amp has a Zobel network on the output consisting of a 1 ohm resistor in series with a 220nF capacitor. Is this possibly that 1 ohm resistor? Do you have a multimeter with which you could measure it? I can't see any inductors in the circuit diagram.
