Default RF video noise on SL-F30

Hi at all,

I have a small problem with another SL-F30
(I love it and I admit I took a second),
when I go to play, I have this noise in video:

In both RF and composite.
And 'likely a fault with the PSU that causes this noise?
The test I did isolate my VCR from any disturbance or spurious RF.

Thank you,

Libra

I have had a quick look at my notes-----
Its a while since I have seen one of these.
I have a mention of C103 and C104 in the PSU

Might be worth a try

Seconded, Steve. I had a similar problem with one of my SL-F30s, it was a small electrolytic capacitor in the power supply, but I can't remember the number.

Mark.

I find a another SL-F30 for parts in my laboratory,
and i have removed the PSU of this.
Mounted the other PSU in my SL-F30 with RF video noise,
now the RF noise is gone, with a perfect image with any interference.

Thanks at all.

Yes,replace all caps in power supply though the high voltage rated smoothing cap will normally be ok.
