Default Jackson Bros Orgola Gang Condenser

Orgola gang condenser in tatty box, re discovered in my loft after decades.

Would I be right in thinking this is late 1920's ?

I seem to remember that the Orgola's were Mullard designs

They were published in Radio for the Millions between 1929 and 1931 if I remember correctly.

My copies are currently still in storage.

An example here of an Orgola here:

Cheers

Right about the date, I was imagining someone getting it for their home built wireless and carefully fitting it ready to receive. I wonder what the real cost was, I bet a few tens of pounds in current currency. Radio wasn't cheap then, about the same real cost as the major entertainment system today.

Using the Bank of England inflation calculator, 29/6 in, say, 1928 would be £93.36 in 2019.

A rich person's hobby!
