Aldi Gas-Powered Soldering Iron Kit
I notice that among the list of Aldi DIY 'special buys' this week is a gas powered soldering iron kit.
It costs £12.99 and comes with a 3-year warranty. It comes with four different tips, though what happens when they wear out, is anyone's guess. Here's a clip from the spec. Max. torch temperature: up to 1.300°C (approx.) Max. soldering temperature: up to 450°C (approx.) Max. heat blow temperature: up to 600°C (approx.) I don't need one myself - I've got two others already, but I thought it might interest other forum members: https://www.aldi.co.uk/gas-powered-m...7013DC4FE7EC07 Hope that might be of interest to someone.
