Thanks to Julesomega for the BSR Quanta.

Arrived very well packed and as described.

Perhaps not in it's present form but parts will go on to make music for many years.

And a further thanks to Rob. Some spare valves I was missing for an upcoming AR88 refurb.

All arrived unharmed in perfect packaging.

Much appreciated

Thank you to Rob, for the metal valves (these will help with restoring some early HP TE) and for finding a few duff valves to salvage bases from, to make solid state test rectifiers, the first has been assembled ready to use with a HP 416.

Thanks to Horris for sending me some empty RS boxes, that will be displayed in the 'Snoddys' workshop in the Broadcast Equipment Museum.

My thanks go to Telecom Green for the item from his testgear disposal which he kindly offered on the forum. Rob was asking for 'enthusiast' rather than 'dealer' prices.
An unusually heavy parcel arrived today, fully tracked, and I have a nice refurbishment project to work on.

Belated thanks to Julesomega for the Acoustics Solutions SP!! DAB/FM Tuner. This is the first proper DAB Hi Fi Unit I've sourced as I've relied on cheap and cheerfull "portable" DAB radios in the past for recording, stereo via the earphone socket! He told me that it had a [mechanical] buzz and was outdated [ie no Dab +] but that wasn't a signal problem. I tend to record audion to a a Panasonic DVD Recorder which [these days] has all the Digital Freeview Radio Channels I need built in, apart from LBC which is absent. The AS Machine is a convenient "add on" that fills the gap nicely in Ramsbottom. Julian even delivered it for me but he does enjoy going through my 78 collection, photographing the record labels for his research project.

I'd looked up mechanical vibrations on this invaluable website. The noise is often coming from the mains TR laminations and I was surprised to see a number of solutions listed. However, when I had the Tuner installed, it not only provided an excellent output but was otherwise silent. Maybe the car jouney from Stockport had sorted things, like the time worn "solution" of banging the top of the Radio or TV when it wasn't working properly [circa Steptoe and Son Just before I came back to the coast I detected a very slight hum but only because I was right next to the box at that point. I'm very pleased with this addition so thanks again Julian

Thanks to all on this site for your help. My wife wants us to move here because the our country has gone down the toilet and the people in the UK are great. No one here
wants to help, they are just greedy and into themselves.
