. . .My grateful thanks to "Dazzlevision " Dave Hazell for his help with the Speed Equalisation Switch and PC88 Main PCB for the Ultra 6212 I have been struggling with for a loud raucous buzz/hum on 1 7/8 and 3 3/4 i.p.s. playback, these two parts cured the problem, enabling me to complete the machine and pass it on to my friend, complete with Original Mic, Paperwork and a Copy of the "BASF Tape Manual".

. . .Another difficult project I was getting stuck with complete thanks to the very kind assistance from other members of this forum!

Thanks to user Silicon for helping me get my meter working. The forums and users in the states are reluctant to help at all. This forum is great and very helpful.

Thanks to Dave G6ONE for sending me some switches.

A minor diffrerence in their design meant they couldn't replace the original, but that doesn't deract from his helpfulness and generosity.

Huge thanks to Julesomega for the essentially-free Sony cassette deck.

Arrived instantly, just as described.

A fiddly repair, now working faultlessly. VERY grateful!

Nick.
