Default Bush SRP31D Record Player.

Hi guys:-

Two questions:

Is it worth replacing the defunct tweeter in an SRP31D?

If yes, what should I replace it with?

Thanks.

Yes if you want better treble.

A twin cone main speaker would be easiest- IF you can find one.

Otherwise pretty much any tweeter that will fit would do something, though disconnect the HT feed and replace the blocking capacitors with something like a simple 4.7uF polyester capacitor.

A half decent external 4 ohm speaker would probably sound better, no matter what!
