Over the last couple of days trying to access the CPC website only gets me an Access Denied message as in the attached screenshot. have any more regular users had trouble or know what's going on? Thanks Will |

Re: CPC website down?
This has been going on in various forms for some time.... there's a thread on their website where people have had 'issues'.

Re: CPC website down?
Thanks
It looks as though it's not me or my ISP then. Perhaps I'll try in Private Browsing mode as seems to be cookie related. Later ... Have tryed Private Browsing, same result - will experiment later. Thanks again Last edited by Telleadict; 23rd Jan 2019 at 6:43 pm. Reason: Added result of trial |

Re: CPC website down?
I currently get the same "Access denied" messages as reported.
[For reference I'm running Linux Mint 3.13.0-164-generic #214-Ubuntu x86_64 and 64-bit Firefox 64.0 ] However, visiting the site from my Android phone using Chrome as the browser and connecting over 3G, it all seems to work OK! |

Re: CPC website down?
Seems to be working fine for me (Win10, Firefox with latest updates as far as I'm aware).
Cheers, GJ

Re: CPC website down?
It appears that the site is redirecting to the http from the https version, they may have stopped access to the http site (denied access) but whether it’s the web site programming or a DNS type error I don’t know.
Some (all?) browsers don’t want to use an http site, perhaps that’s why access control by the web master has been introduced.

Re: CPC website down?
Hello
To report back. I have now had a chance to try the site with Chrome for Linux and it seems to work OK. I had been trying to use Palemoon which is a Firefox fork so the trouble would seem to be browser compatibility related. Thanks for the contributions. Will |

Re: CPC website down?
This is actually because they don't know how to use Akamai, which is their content delivery network, properly. Has been going on for about 2 years.

Re: CPC website down?
Funny thing about this is I know how to fix it because I did it for another company a couple of years ago. However being CPC I wouldn't do it because they'd probably send payment but forget to put the cheque in it based on their ability to send me empty bags so far
