TV programme "Shock & Awe".
Right Place for TV programs?
It's the title of what I think are a series of programs on the "Yesterday" Tv channel. Today's (on at 1300) traced the development of radio. Whether the bit I caught yesterday was part of today's I don't know, as I haven't watched the whole episode, but it went on to junction technology, possibly a step on from where I had to stop as they'd gotten on to using crystals. http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00kjq6d |

Re: Shock & awe
This is a 3 or 4-parter I think withJim Al Khalili? Originally on BBC4.
Good series, on last year some time I think. Starts with static & animasl, goes on to batteries and finally computers with everything in between. Always worth a watch. I have it committed to DVD.

Possibly says that on mine, too, once I remove the moss from the stone tablet.
