Wow! So many makes I've never seen before - although I do have a SONOLOR he doesn't! I doubt he/she would want it though as it isn't pristine like the examples shown.

With regard the first TV set displayed in the gallery, the Le Voix de Son Maitre (HMV) I have an earlier version of it upstairs awaiting restoration. Same cabinet style but for 110 volts only. I still have some French TV sets available if anyone is interested.

Wow, what a collection! Some of the radio's really are works of art by any standard. Only the French could come up with such, dare I say, avant-garde design. Thanks for posting GD

...And that mouth-watering array of hi fi reel-to-reel tape decks! If I ever went there the poor bloke would never get rid of me! I'd take up squatter's rights! He'd have to call the Gendarmes to extricate me and have me deported! Excellent stuff.

Regards,
Paul

Very nice display. Is it my imagination or do some of those sets have a Philips look about them?

Hi,
I wonder where it is, and would they be interested in my 819 lines Teleavia 439T? It has a mains transformer and would work from 110volts as well as 220volts. The TV in post no.5 might be selectable for 220volts too?
Philips equipment in France was often badged 'Radiola'.
Cheers, Pete.

Hi to All,

Another recent TV French site to visit:

http://radioteleviseurs.free.fr/

Belongs to friend Joel P. who was a Philips dealer for over 3 decades.

Lots of good quality photos, enjoy!

Best Regards

Thanks for both websites,
Quite a few reel recorders and some I have never seen before..
I really like the early recorders . I notice upon clicking on Bonus button you can see internal views of various m/cs. Very good pics as we'll.

Nice sites indeed. Too bad neither have my elusive Clarville type No. 78. I can find nothing, nada, zip, zilch about this set. It must be from 1952, has a MW36-24 CRT and features an enormous mains transformer. It's single channel (prolly F8a) but I've so far lacked the courage to fire up the RF/IF section. Picture's OK.
